Here's some tunes from our new buddies HOT PINK DELOREAN! These guys are fairly new on the electro scene, but are following in the footsteps of some of their DRUM N' BASS peers and jumping ship for a bit (see also: TREASURE FINGERS, LA RIOTS, VILLIANS, etc...), as in they've been well know DRUM N' BASS DJs for a while and now are 'cool'. hahah.

maral salmassi grew up in persia and escaped to germany in 1986. she began dj'ing in cologne in 1994 and started her first label konsequent in 1997, labels art of perception and television records followed in 1999 and 2002.

together with cologne-based producer zero cash she started the label television rocks as a platform for their own productions. maral salmassi produces funky, playful glamour tech combining new york wave disco, old school hip hop, electro and french cut-up hop.

after the wonderful (download only) 'back of the van' and the respective remixes by van she technologic and fred falke, ladyhawke is back with her first full single 'paris is burning', set to be released on june 30th, probably one of my favorite pop songs ever and right on time to become a huge summer anthem this year, fingers crossed! the single will feature remixes by peaches, kid gloves and alex gopher.
